Craig Boynton joins us on this edition of Diary of a Professional Tennis Coach. He has worked with lots of great US Players including John Isner, Stevie Johnson and James Blake – but had the most success with Hubi Hurkacz – whom he helped achieve a career-high ranking of world number 6 making him the highest-ranked Polish man in singles history. Together, Boynton and Hurkacz won multiple ATP Tour Singles Titles, including 2 at Masters 1000 level – the first at the 2021 Miami Open and the second at the 2023 Shanghai Masters.
Craig shares some great coaching stories, insight into what makes a great coach and tells us what his plan is next after parting ways with Hurkacz towards the end of 2024.
